Tit Neubauer is a senior advisor at the Science Division of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, where he primarily works on EU affairs and international cooperation. He is also the National Contact Point for EU Missions within Horizon Europe and a Programme Committee member for Cluster 5 (Energy, Climate and Mobility). In the past, Tit has also worked as a research at the University of Ljubljana and as an accredited assistant in the European Parliament. His most recent achievements include the development of a policy brief of the ministry on science communication, work on preparing the position of the Republic of Slovenia on the 10th EU framework programme for research and innovation and the Strategy for the Internationalisation of Higher Education and Science in the Republic of Slovenia 2030. Together with colleagues from the ministry he has recently published an article reviewing Slovenia’s role in EU R&I policy over its 20 year membership.
